OUTDOOR ADVENTURE AND LEADERSHIP COUNSELOR

Counsellor sought for Outdoor Adventure and Leadership Summer Day Camp for Canadian and international teens aged 13 to 17. Program to take place in Burnaby, BC in July and August 2010 for three 2-week sessions (total of six weeks). Instruction will include physical fitness, martial arts and leadership skills such as team building and conflict resolution. Counsellor will and assist with all instruction and will accompany group on one full-day climbing excursion and a 3-day, 2-night canoe and camping trip in each of the sessions. If you have at least 2 years leadership experience as a camp counselor with teens, wilderness camping experience, plus any/all swimming, canoeing and climbing certification, Please note that we have given a contract to Its Academic to do the preliminary screening of candidates for this position, so please check their website at www.itsacademic.ca to apply for this position.
