We are seeking an organized individual with great communication skills to join our Research and Development team as a Product Market Analyst. In this position, you will support the Design Managers in line planning, market research, costing, and marketing information transfer. 

Ideally you will have:
•	5+ years in Product Development, Merchandising, and/or retail buying experience, preferably within the outdoor industry
•	Understanding of the design and development process
•	Effective and efficient time management skills
•	Strong analytical skills
•	Excellent communication skills

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
•	Work closely with design managers with development of seasonal line plans and design brief creations
•	Analyze and provide data on our current position in the market, and current market competition
•	Analyze and provide data on where proposed future developments would sit ensuring consistency of pricing and product offering
•	Assist Vice President, Research and Development and Design Managers with meetings and presentations
•	Maintain and develop program briefs and documents through seasonal line developments and proto review to marketing hand off
•	Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
•	Work with Marketing and Sales to ensure that key product developments are being communicated, internally and to the market
•	Schedule and chair bi annual long term strategy meetings with Design Sales and Marketing 
•	Maintain long term planning documentation for seasonal product revisions and launches

•	Assist Designer to develop standards and ensure consistency across all styles within the line plan, including working with Pattern Making, Product Development and Quality Control departments to prove and implement standards
•	Test various materials to assess suitability for various construction techniques and end uses 
•	Assist the sample floor and respond to problems as they arise
